Though the area has been an agricultural center and rural residential area for decades, the city of Milton didn’t officially exist until 2006, when the residents voted to create the town out of the unincorporated part of Fulton County. Every fall, Crabapple Road is transformed into a bustling antique and craft market for the
Crabapple Fest. If you’re looking for a fun learning experience, the Milton History Trail will take you back to the past with 28 historical landmarks throughout the city, including The Phillips Homestead and Hopewell Baptist Church.
Former Milton Country Club is a city project started in 2018 that is envisioning the country club for public use with trails, a pool, and tennis courts.
