Milton is home to extensive recreation options, with everything from adrenaline-pumping obstacle courses to water sports to a stroll through history.

Every fall, Crabapple Road is transformed into a bustling antique and craft market for the  Crabapple Fest. If you’re looking for a fun learning experience, the Milton History Trail will take you back to the past with 28 historical landmarks throughout the city, including The Phillips Homestead and Hopewell Baptist Church. Former Milton Country Club is a city project started in 2018 that is envisioning the country club for public use with trails, a pool, and tennis courts.

Nearby, Lake Lanier is the largest lake in Georgia, with nearly 700 miles of coastline. Go for the day and enjoy time on the water, or spend the weekend there at Lanier Islands Resort or in a cabin along the shore.
