Welcome to Woodstock
A thriving historic city with everything at your fingertips
Woodstock is a vibrant town north of Atlanta that’s the perfect place to live, work, and play. It’s received multiple awards from the state for being a well-planned, tight-knit community with a high quality of living.
In the late 1800s, Woodstock was just a small depot village along the railroad from Atlanta to Marietta. Woodstock also has a strong medical heritage, beginning with the fact that the town always had an outstanding doctor, even before the railroad. That bent toward healthcare was one of the reasons the Cherokee Atomedic Hospital, touted as “The Hospital of the Future,” was moved here after the World’s Fair in 1969.
Woodstock is full of many gorgeous single-family homes with all the space you could want and tons of bells and whistles. The majority were built after the 1970s, and there are many new constructions or newly remodeled homes. Living in one of Woodstock’s quiet residential areas comes complete with beautiful rural views, and many subdivisions have community pools, tennis courts, and parks.
